FAQ's

What exactly is performance tuning?

Performance tuning involves optimizing your vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) software to unlock hidden potential. Manufacturers often de-tune engines to account for poor fuel quality or neglected maintenance globally. We refine these settings to improve horsepower, torque, and throttle response while staying within safe mechanical limits.

Is tuning safe for my engine?

Yes. With over a decade of experience in high-performance automotive engineering, our priority is always reliability. We don't just "chase numbers"—we ensure the air-fuel ratios, boost pressures, and ignition timing remain within a range that protects your engine's longevity.

Will tuning void my vehicle's warranty?

In most cases, a remap can be detected by a dealership during a deep diagnostic scan. While many of our tunes are designed to be "invisible" to standard plug-in tools, we always recommend discussing warranty concerns with us beforehand so we can provide the best solution for your specific vehicle.

Do I need to use higher-grade fuel?

To achieve the best results and maintain engine health, we recommend using high-octane premium fuel (such as 98 RON or 93 Octane). Performance maps are calibrated for the cleaner, more stable combustion that premium fuel provides.

Can the car be returned to stock settings?

Absolutely. We keep a secure backup of your vehicle’s original factory software. If you ever decide to sell the car or return it to its original state, we can revert the software back to the factory defaults for you.

How long does a typical tuning session take?

Most software-based tunes and ECU remapping can be completed within 2 to 4 hours. However, if you are looking for custom hardware scaling or more complex performance builds, we will provide a specific time estimate based on your project requirements.

What is the difference between a "Stage 1" and "Stage 2" tune?

- Stage 1: A software-only upgrade designed for a completely stock vehicle. No hardware changes are required.

- Stage 2: Requires hardware upgrades, such as a high-flow exhaust system or an upgraded intercooler, to manage the increased heat and airflow.
